The waitlist
- Joining the waitlist is free. We ask for no card and charge nothing.
- Joining gives you a place in line, not a date: we’ll write when the doors open and send invitations in waves.
- You can leave at any time by writing to us, and we’ll delete your email and answers.
The founding offer
- Everyone who joins before launch is a founding player. When paid plans open, founding players pay half price on any plan for as long as their subscription stays active.
- Prices aren’t set yet. We’ll show them to you before you pay anything, and you’re never obliged to buy.
- The offer is personal to the email that joined and doesn’t depend on inviting anyone.
The preview and the game
- The dice and the rules are run by our code; the master’s words are written by an AI. They can be wrong, odd or repetitive, and they are fiction.
- The tales you play are yours to keep and share. Don’t use the game to write content that is illegal or that targets real people.
- We may change, pause or end the preview while we build the game.
Everything else
- Upon Tales is not meant for anyone under 16.
- If these terms change in a way that matters, we’ll tell you by email.
